Review :: WebSite : TheBestSyntheticOil.com

The first thing that I noticed when I entered the TheBestSyntheticOil.com site was the “Free catalogue”. I clicked on the link, full of expectations, but I had to give all kind of personal details to get the catalogue. I didn’t fill the form and I left this section disappointed. Just before leaving the page, I noticed that the page was an “AMSOIL Dealer Information Request”. Well, I just wanted a catalog, not to become a dealer. f the catalogue is just for the dealers, maybe it should be nice to read a note somewhere about that.

I’m not particularly fond of websites with pop-ups. Getting the same pop-up every time I enter the main page, even coming from another page of the site is simply annoying.

When a company claims that their product is the best on the market, it means that all the other similar products are inferior in quality. f this is not the result of an actual comparison, and it’s not backed-up by any facts, I might doubt it. Maybe it’s just a arguable marketing statement, but I am not confortable buying from a company that can’t go beyond “We are the best, … the rest”.

There was a picture on the main page, I would like to see, but it wasn’t available.

I like today’s gas prices ticker, but I believe it would be easier to see for all states at once, to have the full picture.

The product description is nice, close to perfect. From my point of view, the price near the picture would make things more clear.

The online product application guide (long name for a simple action) is really useful. Based on your car’s year and model you can find out what oil you need.

Something that gives me confidence is the eMail address, ending in the domain’s name. It’s good to have an eMail contact address, but I believe that an online form would be nice to have too.
