How to continue recording on the same track in Audacity?

Press the END key to go to the end of the current recording.
Press and hold the SHIFT key while pressing the red record button.

If you don’t hold the SHIFT key, a new track will be created.

This was succesfully tested in Audacity version 2.0.6.
